KING'S CABIN
DESCRIPTION
Kings Cabin offers you a clear and breath-taking full view towards the valley and a huge deck which is a perfect private setting for the hot tub. This rural retreat is just idyllic. A little path takes you from the parking-area, through the trees, to the tucked-away hillside setting, and it’s just a short stroll to the friendly local pub.
On the inside it has a delightful open plan living space which has been thoughtfully put-together with every item carefully chosen and provided. Has a comfortable hand-crafted king-size bed where you can start the day by waking up to the gorgeous view. There is also a cosy wood-burner for those out-of-season escapes.
The kitchen-area is fully equipped for all of your “glamping” needs. There is a mini cooker with two-ring hob (for rustling up a yummy dinner), fridge with ice-box (for that bottle of bubbly) and an all-important kettle. Not forgetting, a spacious en suite shower-room complete with double walk-in shower, wash-basin, flushing WC and a heated towel rail too. Also, the cabin has an open plan living-room with kitchen, dining and bedroom areas. Mini cooker and two ring hob, fridge (with ice box), kettle, king-size double bed (5′) and wood-burner. Shower-room with shower, WC and wash-basin.
These excellent facilities make it a haven. The wide deck boast of the bubbling hot tub, from which the stupendous countryside views can be enjoyed by day and the starry sky (with absolutely no light pollution to dim it) by night. The sun loungers are ideal for relaxing while reading a good book, or perhaps a snooze in the sun, and there is a fire-pit for barbecuing. King’s Cabin is the ideal get-away-from-it-all retreat.
Facing away from each other for total privacy, King’s Cabin and George Cabin neighbour each other while taking pride of being in a serene 51 acre farmland setting with a river. As if this is not enough, you can take a 10 minute stroll to the friendly local pub Castle Inn at George Nympton (booking a table a couple of weeks prior to your stay is advisable as it is extremely popular). You can enjoy a drink and an evening meal (and a quick Wi-Fi fix if you really need to!). They even serve breakfast. Just give them a call the day before to book a table and a hearty fry-up will be awaiting you in the morning!
If you’re after some retail therapy, the South Molton market town is just under 3 miles away with independent shops, as well as a country market every Thursday and Saturday morning with up to 70 local produce and artisan stalls. A perfect place to pick up supplies (and treats!) before returning to your idyllic retreat.
